I am a professor at the Department of Philosophy at the Universidad Alberto Hurtado. My areas of specialization are philosophy of mind, philosophy of action and philosophy of psychiatry. My current research focuses on addiction and other forms of agency under non-ideal conditions, as they relate to motivation, self-control, sensitivity to reasons, and emotions, including the implications of non-ideal agency for autonomy, moral responsibility and other ethically relevant issues.
